Celestron 18mm X-Cel Ocular
Celestron's X-Cel oculars provide performance similar to that of premium eyepieces at a much lower cost--only a little more than most Plossls. For a complete review on my "Astronomy and Photography Information Guide, see this URL: http://www.chuckhawks.com/celestron_x-cel_eyepieces.htm

Celestron 12.5mm X-CEL
Not using this eyepiece for space, bought it for digiscoping. This is an 'inbetween' eyepiece for when the 25mm is too little and the 9mm is too much.
Having used it for just a short time, I find the set-up to be simple and afocal camera shots are somewhat better then the Meade kit eyepieces I was...

Great Optics
This a very inexpensive eye piece for the clarity and quality you receive.

Great High Power
25mm eyerelief really is plus with the 2.3mm eyepiece. usually, high power eyepieces have a very small eyerelief, bu te 6 elements in hison makes up for that difference. Great for any astronomical viewing!

X-Cell Eyepieces
While these eyepieces are a step up, I still enjoy and get as good a views out of my cheap Zhummel eyepieces that are just as good. The E-Cell's do have a wider FOV, but they don't do any better at reducing internal reflections. This is where they dissapointed me. Had they had less internal reflection I would have been much more pleased. Not as wide a view and more internal reflection than my Ortho's but, at a much lower cost. Of corse nothing comes close to my one Nagler. May be a better deal to save and buy the Baader eyepieces. 3 Quality eyepieces with a quality Barlow makes a much more useful investment than a bunch of cheap eyepieces, so these are at least NOT cheap eyepieces, but they are not the Best either. They do suffer from black outs when your eye is not lined up perfect, but do give a slightly wider good view. These seem to hold their value well when sold used. I've seen many go for near new price on e-bay. Always buy new unless you are getting a great deal, and are willing to take the chance on getting junk.
Pros: Good Value
Cons: Still not that great

My best eyepiece now!
Works great, it's my best 1.25" eyepiece now for a short-tube 4.5" reflector. The eye relief is a little short but I got used to that right away.
Pros: Good quality
Cons: Eye relief is a little short.
