Only used this tripod 3 times and on the third trip setting it up to look at a black bear one of the legs completely fell apart and the leg lock mechanism completely fell apart. I tried to fix it in the field and one of the pieces was busted. Since it was damaged now I can’t return it or qualify for a warranty with Celestron. I highly recommend not purchasing this product and paying the extra money for quality.
