Most Helpful Positive Review Great Binocular For Price
This binocular are very good for price. Has very wide almost 7 degree FOV great as astronomical binocular sweaping star clusters. Day time usage is great as well, chromatic aberation is well controlled. Only fallback of such wide angle is the lateral distortion which is quite noticable, but for 25 bucks, It is very acceptable and I will give it a go for anyone buying these binos Pros: Wide Field, Good Chromatic Aberation Control Cons: Spherical Aberation At Lateral Field Of View

They should increase the price of these binoculars.

by Pliny, from WA, United States Written on January 1, 2022
I purchased these binos several years ago. I have others of various bands, magnification, and objective lens sizes. I love these most for bird watching. They have a good field of view compared to other 10x50 binos I have looked at. They let in more light than those with a smaller objective lens. The image is crisp and clear and the colors seem accurate. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we have lots of cloudy days, so it is nice to have the extra light these capture. I have an expensive bino 8x42 which is often recommended for birding, but we often are watching sea birds at a distance and the power of 10 is appreciated. I honestly think these binoculars compare favorably with much more expensive brands. They look good, are easy to focus, and are comfortable to hold. They are heavier than some, but I don't find that a bother if I am not backpacking.
Pros:
  • Field of view, Clarity, look and feel.
Cons:
  • weight
Best Used for:
  • Birding, nature viewing,
  • Birding, nature viewing, general purpose

Great Binoculars Very Easy To Use

by Doctor Bones McCoy, from NY, United States Written on December 11, 2021
Having used different Celestron Binoculars such as the Celestron Impulse 10 X 50 Binocular, the Celestron Cometron 7 X 50 Binocular, the Celestron G2 Porro 7 X 35 Binoculars, the Celestron Upclose G2 Porro 8 X 40 Binocular, the Celestron 10 X 25 Roof Prism Binocular. I found that the Celestron Upclose G2 10 X 50 Porro Binocular are great. They come with the soft carry case, A Micro fiber cloth, and lens caps plus an easy to read Instruction Manual. I believe that these Binoculars that I have listed are great but I like the Celestron Upclose G2 10 X 50 Porro Binoculars are my favorite Binoculars. I like them because the Moon comes in crisp and clear. The Celestron Upclose G2 10 X 50 Porro Binoculars brings the Moon, Mars, Saturn and all the other Planets and the stars and Star Constellations upclose. I even like the name of the Binoculars the celestron Upclose G2 Porro 10 X 50 Binoculars. Even the name Upclose it really bring the Moon, Mars and all the other Planets including the Stars and Star Constellations really upclose. It makes you feel that you are upclose. All in all these Binoculars are truly Great and very affordable and they are great for Astronomy Observing and Terrestrial Observing. One thing to really get in addition to these Great Binoculars is the Celestron Lens Cleaning Kit and a Celestorn Lens Pen Cleaning Kit. But these Binoculars are Fun to use and great.

Nice little binocular

by Sebastian, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on February 19, 2013
This little binocular offer a great view. 10X magnification with almost 7 degree FOV. It defeat most other 10X binocular I own in clarity and FOV. Chromatic aberation are really minimal only. For price it's a catch!
Pros: Good optics, great FOV
Cons: focuser a bit rough
