Purchase this 5 months ago. Suddenly it is turning off and on for no reason. I’ve had it looked at by multiple people and they said it is a common issue with this model. Very disappointed! Looks like I’ll have to go through the manufacturer because optics planet doesn’t offer assistance after 30 days.

Bought this for a canik Tti combat and it fits perfectly. You still have visibility of your front sight. Would highly recommend

Great sight, easy to install, looks awesome on my pistol.

I bought one of these in May of 2025 and had to send back because the red dot would intermittently time out after every shot until it ultimately stopped working completely.
I received a replacement with no problem in June of 2025. I used it at the range maybe 10 times and the replacement just stopped working with no warning.
Don't be as dumb as I was and order this unless you have money to throw away on a disposable red dot.

First off, I love my Caniks. Great triggers. Reliable. So, I was excited to try an SRO clone competition dot without the SRO price. Dot held zero. There is plenty of brightness. Shake awake worked fine. After less than 1,000 rounds, the red dot shut off in the middle of a competition. Turned back on with no input from me after the stage. So I chalked it up to a fluke? Bad/loose battery? Changed battery, and the same thing happened on the next stage. Had to change guns to finish comp. I've tried reaching out to Canik to begin the warranty process but have yet to receive a response (4 days). Hopefully, it was just a lemon, and Canik will make it right. If so, I'll update my review, but until then, 2 stars is the best I can do, nor can I recommend. We'll see what happens.

Perfect fit and improved my accuracy dramatically.

Works great and the fit was perfect. Mount came along with gun purchase so there was no need to purchase anything extra. Canik and Mecanik are perfect together.

Needed an optic last minute before a math and it showed fast. Zero was easy to set up it’s like a discounted trijicon SRO.

Initially it seems like a budget RSO. Big window and dot, but a little fragile - less robust than optics half the price. Ran great the first time used, but then developed an electrical short the first week. Here is where it goes from "Maybe I got a bad one" to Canik customer service is so bad, I am selling my Canik pistols so I don't have the possibility of needing to warranty them in the future.
Each step in their process takes weeks and it takes multiple phone calls to get to keep the process moving to the next. Their response is consistently aggressively defensive and the timeline is skewed. The process to return the sight for warranty took a month. 2 weeks later I called to check on it. There response was "We just received it a week ago we have not processed it in yet." When you attempt to explain that its been 2 months since the process started - they become more defensive than a California DMV worker. Then I am told it will be another 8 weeks. So I Bought it and filed warranty claim in July. It's October and their eta is December. Had to buy a different optic while waiting the 5 months for this one. Could have used the money to buy a Holosun or any other quality optic for $75 more to begin with.

I bought a Canik SFX-rival and ordered a Mecanik MO3 redot from Amazon because my local gun store did not have any in stock. After just several hundred rounds the red dot malfunctioned and would go off every time you shot the gun. I returned it to Amazon and got a replacement. After several hundred rounds the same problem with the dot going off. Showed it to my local gun dealer who agreed there was some kind of contact issue. This time I returned it to Amazon for a refund and replaced the site with another brand. I don't know if the ones that were on Amazon could be some form of knock off but would not purchase another one.
