411000POD: BlackHawk CF Compact Light Carrier - Holster
affordable light holster allows for customized placement on belt or on CQC Carbon-Fiber Dual Rail Accessory Platform. This flexibility is a big plus. My only complaint is that it can only hold the light bezel up. I appreciate flexibility so a bezel down option with space for a tactical lanyard woul...

Tight fit for some flashlights
Not usuable for the 6P because the leaf spring holds far too well. It took a lot of force get to get the light in and it took two hands to twist it back out. The knurled body of the 6P didn't help so I tried with mu G2 and it was still just as difficult. I swapped out the leaf spring with one from a...

Good stuff.
I bought this Blackhawk CF Compact Light Carrier for my Streamlight PROTAC 1L-1AA flashlight. It's mounted on my Serpa 2 drop holster. The flashlight fits nice snug bezel down in the carrier. It's not going anywhere. I like that you can mount this carrier to a Serpa platform with a rail mount (sold separately) or clip it to your belt next to your spare magazine carrier for CCW.
Pros:
- Meets my needs.
Cons:
- None, so far.

flashlight points up
This is another quality product form Blackhawk. The fit and finish are good. It holds a flashlight well.
I have one small observation that is probably obvious to most readers. The light-emitting end of the flashlights I own is larger in diameter than the rest of the body. Also, I prefer flashlights with a tail switch. Thus, this carrier holds the narrower tail end of the light and the flashlight points up. It can be just a little awkward (depending where the carrier is on your belt) to grip the flashlight, remove it from the carrier, and bring it up with your thumb on the tail switch and flashlight pointed out.
Pros: good flashlight retention
Cons: flashlight points up

Perfect For Any SureFire (that's similar to a G2 or G3)
This light holster is perfect of r a SureFire G2 or G3. The retention system is great, it will hold a G3 perfectly. This will work on a belt or on a Blackhawk picatinny rail platform.
