Rhino grip hogue
I would have given it a 5 out of 5 except for a couple of minor issues. The grip alignment with the threaded bore in the gun grip was kind of difficult to achieve. Also there was no screw that came with the grip, you can't use the original screw. The second was there seem to be some discoloration o...

Major design flaw
The grip is beautiful however there is a major design flaw in the grip. When installed the grip does not let you fully depress the cylinder release on the left side of the revolver. The release lever hits the top rim of the grip and does not properly and safely release the cylinder. I was forced to ...

Beautiful grip
I liked the light walnut grip my Chiappa Rhino 50DS came equipped with but always just a little to short for my largr that average sized hand. This Houge grip alleviates the problem and the bravertail is sculpted a little thinner so you can grip up on th gun a little more which held mitigate even more of the recoil/muzzle flip the Chiappa design already does a great job of doing. It took me longer to find yhe proper size allen wrench tahn it took me o remove and install this grip. All th fitment issues I read people had in other reveiws have been addresed. Oh yeah, it lookins beautiful as well. Worth every penny in my opinion

Doesn't fit
Just got this in the mail today, tried to put it on but the hole in the grip is off center and can't thread with the gun. Going to have to take it to a gunsmith to see if they can make it work. For the price this costs, you would think they could manage to get the holes lined up.

Vastly Superior to the factory grip
Beautifully made grip. My only reservation is that I'd prefer an option with finger grooves, but they are not essential and I can happily shoot without them. I no longer feel that I'm about to drop the revolver!
The service received from Optics Planet was superb, particularly given that I live in Australia where this sort of equipment is very hard to source.

- They look great

Fantastic grip, perfect fit
The grip came with a screw that attached perfectly to my 60DS, and there's a little carveout on the upper left for the cylinder release lever pre-cut into the grip. I was a little worried about my purchase from some of the questionable reviews, but I am 110% satisfied with these. As a bonus, they look amazing with the black rhino (much better than the brighter wood stock grip)

Great Grip Option for Rhino 40 DS thru 60DS
I waited a long time for this grip because it was on backorder for months. It was worth the wait. It was easy to install and to be hones, this grip should be the one that comes on this revolver (60DS in my case) from factory. This grip completes this revolver as it is far better than the original in every way. The original worked fine but to me was never comfortable. This grip looks great on the revolver, is comfortable, and points better than the original ever could. If you have a 40DS thru 60DS, I highly recommend that you put one on your revolver as you will not be disappointed. I wish this came with instructions; I am a bit technical as I would like to torque the screw to a specific torque and I like loctite. I did email Chiappa, and they said hand tight with no Loctite. So if Chiappa is fine with hand tight with not Loctite, I am fine with it.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- look & feel
- pointability
Cons:
- price
- Backorder
Best Used for:
- 40DS
- 50DS
- 60DS

chiappa rhino grips
Received grips today and I am very pleased. Top quality, beautiful design. My grips fit my Chiappa 60DS perfectly. No problem with safety bar
rubbing on grips, and the screw that came with the grips with the correct length to attach grips firmly to the gun.

Good grip for distant shooting
The product works well, however, some alterations were needed... and had to buy a longer screw and and shorten to the specific size so that it fit snug when assembled. Firing with this handle is different from that of the original grips of my 50DS that said I like the full grip I have and that I have good placement for my lower hand positioning.
Pros:
- Larger handed individuals will appreciate this grip
Cons:
- Retraining of firing may be required
Best Used for:
- Accuracy at greater distance
