Most Helpful Negative Review Its a shell follower...Just a shell follower...
This product is as advertsed..... High visibility shell follower. Be advised: I had to do a little sanding on the part making contact with the magazine cylinder wall. It was wanting to hang up. 1.5 minutes with 160 grit sandpaper, & it works great. BTW: Due to the necessary sanding, I dropped a star to 3, because i do not expect this part should require "fitting".

Excellent Replacement

BETTER than original follower in m590. Old one started snagging and getting caught up out of nowhere. Bought a replacement and fits perfectly without any modification. Oil around the follower for easy slip in all the while lubricating the mag tube. Like the other reviews say look up how to remove the OEM one. I just put in a long punch and smacked out the original one from the front of the mag tube with a rubber mallet. It does not remove a shell capacity from my 9 shot Mossberg 590. Slightly tight to put in the last round but its due to the new spring installed. Material is not an issue, do not see the need for those metal ones out there. This one will do well if not better and it will either way take a beating. Seems strong in design and material.

Perfect fit, make sure you know how to remove your tube

Perfect fit and a great upgrade from the factory follower. Make sure before purchasing that you know how to remove your tube - on older Mossbergs the tube is simply screwed on tight but some newer ones have red Loctite applied at the factory so you may need to heat the joint in order to remove it. Plenty of instructional videos on YouTube to show you how.

Perfect aftermarket follower

This is exactly what I needed for my Mossberg 590 cruiser. The factory followers are not very functional as they tend to get hung up every now and again, This is smooth and will last much longer. It also includes a nice tip for the magazine spring to stay aligned in the end and prevent snagging as well.
