Best Buy on a Contender Forend
After searching online, on eBay, etc. for a reasonably priced forend, I came across this forend by Choate. It is a perfect match for the black polymer grip on my Contender. I thought I was going to have to customize it to fit the 10" octagonal barrel I had, but the single screw snugged it down tight. (NOTE: you are purchasing the forend alone - the single screw and washer are NOT included. It was a simple matter to buy a 10-32 machine screw at my local hardware store and cut it to size.) OpticsPlanet had it in stock and shipped it ASAP. The only wrinkle was that the US Postal Service sent the package around the country before it got to me, but still it arrived in 10 days. Definitely recommended.

I bought this forend for an extra frame I purchased. There was no screw included with plastic forend. Why not???
