Great addition but you will have to do some modification
Great way to add capacity. However you will need to dremel the two limiters down or file them down on the inside of the factory magazine so the follower can travel through. Only takes a few minutes.

Great Item
This is a great item with all of the necessary pieces to install correctly. Materials are quality. I did order the incorrect item number for my particular shotgun by accident. Quickly figured that out and reordered the correct part. Second time around fit perfectly and love the functionality and look. Runs smoothly without hang-ups. Nobody's fault but mine due to lack of research. I was paying more attention researching the length so it wouldn't extend past the barrel. I feel extensions past the barrel look like a mistake. It's a one-piece extension. So there is no flexibility. Item must be labeled a fit for your particular shotgun. Solid and I like the fact the kit includes the tube support bracket fastened with a sling stud.

So if you wanting it to be flush with the barrel this isnt for you.i checked the reviews and crossed it with all information i could get.it will say it fits flush,but it it doesnt sticks out about 1/2inch but looks well made.

A little too long for my taste
These function properly, but they extend well past the muzzle.
Ignore what Choate's website says (7shot Model fits 18in barrel or longer, 8shot Model fits 20in barrel or longer.)
Here is what the back of the packaging says; 7shot=6in long, 8shot=8.125in, 9shot=10.25in, 10shot=14.75in.
Measure your gun. The 8shot was way too long for my 18in barrel with 1.5in extended choke. I then bought the 7shot and it sticks out past the end of the choke by about 1.25in. I don't feel like buying another one at this point, but I would probably just go with the 6shot.
I know that shot won't hit the extension, but it doesn't look good. On the plus side, the 8shot holds 9 2.75in shells in the tube and the 7shot holds 8 2.75in shells in the tube.
Both mine included the clamp and swivel stud, but had no sling swivel.

This product is well-made, and was exactly what I was looking for. Installation went well. I used a different method to remove the dimples on the magazine tube. I watched a few YouTube videos and used a piece of round metal to flatten the dimples inside the tube most of the way, and then about 15 minutes of the file the smooth them out, this way I didn’t have holes in the magazine tube?
