I needed a steel rail Christensen Arms and Optic planet both advertise this item as made of steel

I purchased the rail from Optic Planet assuming it was "as advertised" I cut the rail to fit a modification

I found out that the product is made of aluminum.

I contacted both the manufacturer Christensen Arms and Optic Planet both did not appear to be concerned about my issue,

Optic Planet would not give me any credit as I had modified the product

Great product for the bipod guy!

Another great product for your Christensen rifle. Or any rifle for that matter. As a functioning gunsmith, this was a simple install. BUT - the installation instructions were for a twin lug scope mount and the only hardware that was useable was the T nut. The remaining hardware was for the M Lock mounting system. Could not use any of it. I have or can make any hardware needed, but the average DIY will need to make a run to the hardware store. On-Line video will reveal a good way to install, but I have tooling to do it much better. Research installation

  • Most other rifles on the market

Great solution for your traditional rifle

Pretty lightweight . Imo a must have for your traditional bolt action rifle . Will also come with mlok hardware to fit in mlok slots
