This recoil brake is amazing, it makes my 16" CA-10 shoot like an M4 in 5.56; the only draw back would be trying to shoot it prone as the gases go in all directions perpendicular to the shooter. For off a table at the range, standing, knealing, it is amazing how little recoil the 308 has. My 9 and 11 year old could shoot at targets all day long.
