I love the cloud defensive lcs. Shot alot of rounds with this mounted on my rifle and it's been on it for 2 years with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend this light control system because the plastic rail mounts and tie straps are not a good way to secure the pressure switch to the rifle.

Fits snug on the rail. Love the slots for the wire to tuck into. Great product all around. Use RTV Black Silicone on the threads..strong as locktite but removable. If this last line doesn’t hit 200 then screw this review.

Do not waste your time or money with this mount. This wonder mount was so “precision machined” that the two clamp sections are out of spec with the center section, ensuring that no amount of “patience” or a “few extra minutes” will ever lead to a “perfectly centered tape switch.” Furthermore, the cable channel they’re oh so proud of is too shallow, meaning if you actually place the cable in the channel the exposed portion of the cable pushes the clamp section even more out of alignment with the center section. For a mount designed specifically for certain tape switch, it fails on every level. Well, not every level, it is pretty. Is it $60+ pretty, I leave that to you. The flimsy, plastic, POS pic mounts that come with the Streamlight Protac are a better option than this.

As other reviewers have mentioned, I saw this product on YouTube after purchasing my first two ARs this year. And I could see the obvious superiority the product offered compared to the standard OEM remote switch used for my 2 rifles equipped with Streamlight HX-L and Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount tactical lights. I ended up purchasing two of them; 1 black and one FDE--one for each of my AR. The product oozed quality when I opened the box. As a newbie to the platform I was reassured by the excellent instructions. The item installed fairly easily. It is light in weight and well constructed. I now know my wire connection to my tactical lights are secure, and that the mount will not be getting loose, and access to switch controls is just as easy as with the OEM setup. The price made me pause but I desired reliability and a neat look, so it was worth to me. In fact, as I purchased a 3rd AR I immediately ordered another LCS to go with the Streamlight ProTac2 that going to be on the weapon.

I really like the idea and fitment of it best choice ever. I use it with the steamlight pro tac and it sit flush and perfectly. Wish most light companies can release something like this with their products from factory. It feels really firm and was recommended by a good friend of mines. I do highly recommend it if you're running for your rifle.

I have two of these. One for Streamlight and the other model for Surefire. Awesome quality and design. No more screwing around with zip ties to secure loose wires. If you don't have one of these what are you doing with your life?

Rock solid mount! Easy access to my pressure switch. Worth every penny. Really like the fact that you can hide the cable in the mount. If you run a weapon light this is the mount for you, but once cry once LOL.

I have practically used the Cloud Defensive Light Control on all of my guns, with the exception of one. I plan on buying a third one for the gun I didn’t put it on because to go without this system is almost cumbersome. This system is rigid and battle proven, a must have if you are going to be running pressure switches on your long guns. Don’t cheat yourself GRAB one.

Solid construction. Finish is great. Simple and easy install. The cut outs for routing the wires is nice and provides a clean look. I’m a very happy shooter with this addition to my rifle. Definitely Reccomend

If you are looking for a great way to mount your Streamlight HLX, look no further. Great quality and ergonomics, this will be a great addition to anyone looking to securely mount their light to their handguard. My only complaint is that it does not come in an M-lok compatible setup, and adding the additional pic-rail for an attachment point elevated the LCS to a point where it somewhat interferes with a thumb over bore grip. Overall, great product, would definitely recommend!
