I do prefer the aluminum version over this polymer style.
However, this is still the best way to protect your Streamlight switch and cord.
This does require a little patience to get everything together and the cord run in the groove correctly.
Well worth the price!
Pros:
  • Stronger mounting for tape switch
  • Cloud Defensive quality
Cons:
  • Finicky to mount and protect cord
