Great mags
I was recommended these mag's years ago when I got my first 1911 and they have worked flawlessly thru the years, I've heard good things about other mag's, but with how good these work I wouldn't buy another brand.I love bumper, it makes access to the mag easier when you have a magwell.
Pros:
- relability
Cons:
- None for me

CM products .45 acp magazine
I guess the first clue should have been that they were still available. Lol! I had some of these a couple decade's ago when they were Shooting Star. I didn't like them then either. They have that funky follower that's a piece of folded spring steel so that you can smash the 8th round into the the mag. The problems I have with these mag's is on the last round they don't always have enough spring pressure kick the slide stop up. The other thing that bug's me is on that last round it feels like the follower is going to come flying out of the mag. Now let's talk about the bump plates. I would have thought they would have been attached,no, you have to install them. Good luck. They come with little itty bitty self tapping phillips head screws. So if you don't have a high quality tiny phillips head screwdriver with a hardend tip you will have to buy one. I should have sent these back but know I was determined to attach these pieces of cow dong. Even with a quality phillips head it was a struggle and the last one I stripped, shoot! The only good thing I can say about these is the body of the mag looks high quality. I'll use these at the range, since I'm stuck with them, but I would not trust these in a weapon I was using to defend myself.
