Amazing trigger
This trigger was delivered in good condition and as advertised. The 3.5 lb trigger pull is perfect and it fit beautifully in my San Tan Tactical Billet AR15 receiver. i will definitely be using CMC triggers in my future builds.

Much to be desired
The trigger works. Kind of a goofy reset as the disconnect surfaces do not slide, but kind of click on the reset. The reset only ends up engaging part of the trigger sear and the trigger can be pushed forward after the reset to fully engage the sears. For the price there are a lot better options out...

BEST GO-TO CHOICE
THESE ARE MY FAVORITE GO-TO TRIGGERS PERIOD. They have been my standard choice for over a decade of AR building, I literally have around 20 of these. The only time I pick a different trigger is when I do a precision build where I like a more expensive Timney two-stage trigger or a binary or FRT trigger. I have had a few times where the trigger is a loose fit in the receiver body because their cassette style body is bent sheet metal, but I just shim the sides to tighten that up. No big deal.

Great trigger for my DMR
Easy installation, great short break, solid reset, and checks all the boxes for me, but had just a tad bit of wobble inside the lower receiver. I installed it in an Aero M5 lower, which may explain it since it’s a larger frame than a standard AR15. All i did was place a thin piece of metal between the receiver and trigger housing and I have had zero issues since.
This is great for DMR/SPR builds, I wouldn’t necessarily say it is ment to be ran fast like a SD3G, but it is amazing for precision shooting. The notch at the bottom off the trigger face acts as a great anchor point for me as well.

Initially, I had a CMC trigger on a Labor Day deal with a lower receiver. Crisp pull, and I now understand why people rave about them. I'll more than likely stick with cmc in the future. Optics planet is great as usual. I really can't find anything to complain about. This is my second trigger from them

Solid SS Trigger
Have installed in several rifles. Are there better, more expensive triggers out there? Yes. This one is excellent and a tremendous value. Easy to install. Clean, short, crisp action on break and reset. Minimal creep and over travel. Will shoot better than I can all day long. Will buy again and again.
