Easy install, some modification required, but much lighter than advertised - CMC Triggers AK Tactical 3 Single Stage Trigger Group

This dropped into my stamped receiver with some reworking of the manual safety lever. This is to be expected given the platform is far from "milspec." Some receivers are stamped, some are milled - the variations are endless. If you work with this platform you will understand that hardly anything will drop right in without some sort of rework. That met my expectation.

However, as with other reviewers, this trigger tests at barely 1.5# of pull. This is extremely light for a semi auto platform unless it is a 2 stage precision rifle set up. It was getting two round and then three round bursts due to bumpfire. Sent the trigger back to CMC who examined it and sent it back as "in spec."

As I continued to modify the platform and it gained some mass, and realizing I had to hold this thing tight to the shoulder with a strong hand on the handguard, the bursts went away. I will agree this trigger is not for the faint of heart but it breaks like glass with an amazing reset. Unfortunately at 1.5#, it's not like you can use the reset without bumpfire.

The other reviews of 1 star are harsh. I run CMC in all my AR platforms as well and they are flawless. The issues here are more about the lack of uniformity of the 7.62x39 platform, and not CMC's craftsmanship and quality.
