Most Helpful Negative Review Looks great, but too light and doesn’t work in Arsenal SAM7R. A waste of $!
There is no way to make this trigger work in a Arsenal SAM7R and have a working safety. Considering it has a ridiculous 1.5 lb trigger pull and very little travel, it cant be loaded without a safety. Just took one out of a formerly good AK and destroyed it so no one else would be tempted to use it. The parts are soft and they wear quickly making the entire trigger group useless and dangerous. This one was worn out according to the owner after about 300 rounds.

CMC AK Trigger

The unit has an excellent trigger pull. When properly installed it is a great improvement over the stock trigger group that came with any AK type weapon that I have owned. The unit will work in my Norinco Chinese AK but the safety did take some fitting. The unit fit the factory trigger pins perfectly on the Norinco. I plan to purchase another one for my SAR 1 (Romanian 7.62x39) so I checked it for fit and it does work and also needed some filing on the safety.

Very Old man loves shooting

I purchased the CMC AK trigger and believe me every AK owner should be changing the trigger because it’s a different weapon after installation. I hate to say it but it’s as close to an automatic weapon as you can get. Very short reset & very light pull but consistent. The CMC engineers did a fine job and I’m still stunned because it is one fast trigger

Absolutely hot garbage. Avoid.

I bought this trigger because my friend had one on a chinese AK and it was excellent. It's very overly complicated to install and even when you do everything correct it may not even fit your rifle. It won't fit my "Made in Russia by Izhmash" AK, they shouldn't have made the trigger in the first place if it doesn't fit Russian.

  • doesn't fit saiga
