Bought this CMC 2.5# to replace my stock M&P 15-22 trigger. My groupings tighten up by 1/2". I didn't find if any take up; you are literally at the wall and the reset is very positive and short. For the price, it's quite hard to beat and hard to find a drop in trigger at around 2.5#. Installation...

Most Helpful Negative Review Disappointing
Installed easily, works dependably, but has some take up (creep)and measures in at 3.0 lbs. For a "2 to 2.5 lb trigger" this is not what I was expecting. There are plenty of 3.5 lb triggers on the market. I was looking for something lighter. Unfortunately this one isn't anywhere near the 2 lb mark.

Perfect Drop in upgrade

Got this one to replace a factory setup and the difference is like night & day. Trigger pins are nice too as they are Torix and not just your common Allen head screws.

Excellent Trigger

This trigger is truly nice. Installation was easy. Zero take up. Glass like break. Extremely short reset. Two and a half pound pull is awesome. Well worth the money. Happy mag dumping.

Snappy Single stage

Building a duty style rifle i wanted a super crisp trigger with no take up at all and I have found it. This trigger has a super clean break, doesn't move until the break and a super short reset. The flat face is nice but could use some serrated faces.
Pros:

  • Super Smooth operating surface

  • Shots in rapid succession

I have this trigger on about 5 rifles. Awesome trigger, quality materials and a great brand. No creep, fast reset. About 2.5/3lb trigger pull. You can’t go wrong, get it.
