I was looking for the right carrier for gas mitigation and the reviews pointed me in the right direction!

received my BCG and like another reviewer mentioned, it is labeled ST , not CMC . ST stands for San Tac , a daughter company of CMC. they ran out of the CMC labeled BCG's as per their rep who i called to make sure what i got was what im supposed to get . i already own 3 regularly labeled CMC BCG's and they all work wonderfully or id not be repeatedly buying . im sure this one though not labeled as CMC will still work flawlessly . i didnt ask why they are labeled this way , San Tac can be bought on the Optics Planet site individually. but she said they " ran out of the CMC labeled BCG's " and offered to exchange. im not trying to bother anyone so ill stick with it . but wanted to leave this here in case it helps others who may be concerned / surprised. . I'd think they will eventually come back with the CMC labeled units, or just discontinue it and sell as San Tac labeling .
Cons:
- none , but wish they'd clarify the mislabeling
Best Used for:
- runs awesome with 5.56 and 300 blackout

The first one I received had a BCG logoed ST instead of CMG, when sent a replacement still the same thing. If I wanted San Tactical BCG I would of bought a SAns Tactical BCG. When looking up the Sans Tactical BCG they are identical to the CMC one. Who ever makes this BCG looks like they make it for both companies, OP sales both brands. Looks like the distributor messed up and placed the wrong engraved bcg in the package.

Bought 2 of these and both will not eject the fired round, resulting in stuck case in chamber, one was sent back and waiting to arrive (but more than likely will have same issue) also tried on several other uppers with same result, had to use another BCG to extract case. I don’t know how people are getting them to run on their builds but I’ll be returning both more than likely.

This is a high quality bolt if your plan is to run your rifle suppressed. However if you are planning to run without a suppressor, I would look elsewhere. I put this in a 16inch Aero Precision M5 upper with a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block and ran through all the settings. In all settings while unsuppressed, I could not get a reliable last round bolt lock back. I am able to get the brass to eject at the 3:30/4 o’clock position, but again no last round lock back. I assumed it was a pmag problem but the bolt locks back manually with an empty mag. I should’ve learned from a previous 300black build that you build to run suppressed or unsuppressed, but not both.

This BCG worked so well getting rid of blowback while shooting suppressed with one of my AR's that I bought another for my other AR. Now, I don't look like I've been in a coal mine after a day at the range. Worth every penny.
Pros:
- smooth operation
- Elimnates blowback
Best Used for:
- Suppressed and unsuppressed shooting

As advertised, this BCG works very well suppressed. Before using this BCG, I would come home from target practice looking like I worked in a coal mine. After the first session at the range with the CMC Triggers BCG, I'm sold. No blowback in the face and smooth operation.

Great fit, finish, and design with noticeable upgraded performance. If you are familiar with your gun you'll notice the improvement upon firing it for the first time. I'd pass on LMT, Novesek and the like and go with CMC... IT IS THAT NICE. I'm telling ya!
Pros:
- Fit and finish
- Function
- Premium
- noticable upgrade
- Enchanced performance

The bolt carrier group look great. It seems to be a great bgc for the price. Time will tell if it last but have no reason to think it will not
