a MUST for dedicated 22lr AR upper
If your are building a dedicated AR using cmmg's 22lr conversion bcg, you will need this part for it to work. The fit and finish is top notch. No issues with it.
When i was using the 22lr bcg swapping it in and out as neesed, the reliability isnt the best. I wiuld have at least 20% malfunction from the ammo. It didnt matter what i ran it happens to all i fed the Ar22. I built a deducated upper using tgis collar and my malfunctions have benn reduced to maybe 5 out of 100 rounds. Great lil collar
Couldn’t be happier. It works perfectly on both my 9inch and 4.5inch barrels. CMMG was out of stock on their site. Optics Planet had it in stock and cheaper than it would have been on CMMG’s site. Shipping time was acceptable although I do wish it was a bit faster. Took about 9 days to come.

This things works great!
I already had the CMMG .22 adapter bolt and magazines and it worked fine except for the kinda poor accuracy from a just a .223 barrel. So, I decided to just make a dedicated .22 out of one of my AR's, which was a polymer Bushmaster Carbon 15. I got a pencil .22 barrel and swapped it out and then just replaced the 22ARC collar for the existing one. Voila, I now have an extremely light and accurate .22 AR. I love it and so do my grand kids.
