The part works well and feels super sturdy. It installs just like your regular mag catch too. Only issue I've run into is depending on your choice of bolt release, the bottom of the release might interfere with release. So far though, I've had no accidental releases running drills. It plays very nicely with standard "ping pong paddle" releases.
Overall, I really like the simplicity of it a lot. If you don't have a lower that is specifically built with Ambidextrous controls in mind, this is a great way to add the versatility to any lower that is fast becoming the norm.
