So good, I literally bought a second one days later
Replaced my milspec standard catches with these. I prefer these over others that have more of a bulky or "specialty" design. It's clean, solid and does the job. It is a little on the pricier side though, but you get what you pay for.

Perfect for lefties
Picked this up as I'm a lefty. Works just as I hoped it would. Great clearance with CMMG's bolt catch release. Makes for a great mod for those who shoot left handed and want to do a lot of their manipulation with their left hand.

CMMG Ambi Mag Catch
I had a Noveske 5.56/300 BLK Gen 3 lower which didn’t have an Ambi mag catch, so I contacted Noveske to find out what they use. They use this and Norgon on their factory builds. So, I got it. It works perfectly.

it's low profile with the same footprint as a standard magazine release. If you want the ambi capability without the bulk then this one is for you.

not what I hoped for
Being a lefty I been eyeing this product for a few years to finish out a build when I finally got it was disappointed to see regardless of how far out or in I threaded it into place I could not get enough leverage on it to drop free a fully loaded magazine. When the magazine is empty it seems to drop free effortlessly but that does me no good if I want to pull a full or particul full magazine. Not worth returning so gonna live with it but sad to see it doesn't give enough mechanical leverage to overcome a full magazine against the bcg.

Only solution I recommend to add a left sided mag release to a right hand only lower.
I got my aero precision lower on sale but I also wanted to have a left handed mag release. I didn’t want to spend $300+ to buy an Ambi lower. Though there are lots of after market parts you can buy, the issue I ran into a lot was they tend to add extra height/width leading to the mag unintentionally being released when hitting against my body. This 100% exists and functions within your existing mag catch space, no more no less. It also makes it possible to have an existing lower to have ambi mag release with a BAD lever since it doesn’t interfere with the bad lever.
