E's Review of Cmmg, Inc AR15, Ambi Magazine Catch

This ambi mag release is a great idea, and is a real help when using the offhand to release a mag. Sometimes due to logistics and position it's a necessity. Works best with an enhanced bolt catch to avoid accidentally releasing the mag when engaging the bolt catch.
Pros:
  • Ambidexterity
Cons:
  • need an extended bolt catch to avoid accidental mag release
