CMMG 22LR M4 Barrel and Collar kit.
I am more than pleased with this combo. I made one of my ar uppers into a designated 22lr, very nice. Reliable, and better yet, she shoots about 1" to 1.5 at 100yds with CCi standard! Not bad. Definitely recommend. Thanks, Dave

zero stars. completely inaccurate at 25 yards.
This barrel was so inaccurate it was almost impressive. I torqued the barrel nut to milspec and tried multiple reliable optics, but at 25 yards my shots bounced around from 2" off to 6" off up and down and left to right. The barrel was too short
The advertised 16.1" barrel length was deceiving.
The 16.1" length was measured from the tip to tip with about 1.5" of the barrel inside the upper receiver, so the 15.5" hand guard that I purchased for it was too short. The barrel and thread didn't protrude out of the hand guard.

Easy to install and works great
Converted my CMMG 22lr kit to a dedicated upper and this was a quick and easy to install barrel and collar that has helped to make that happen.
Would recommend: Yes
Light strike 50 percent of the time
I was running a CMMG conversion on a .556 barrel and had zero problems. I switched to the CMMG barrel with collet and half the time I get light strikes and failure to fire. I have the barrel installed correctly and tried different firing pins and springs without any resolution. POS product will give you issues like many other buyers.

Works as intended
The Collar Kit fit the CMMG 22LR converter very well. I used the items for an AR-15 dedicated 22LR upper, and so far the accuracy has improved over the standard converter. Would recommend!!

So far I am loving this barrel! Fits very nice snug and flush in the Upper Receiver!!! Group so far on red dot standing 1 moa definitely can get better!!!! Definitely get the borebuddy reliability kit! Since bolt has bounce and will fix any problems!!

Fail to fire/light strikes and average accuracy
First time I pulled the trigger, fail to fire. Rim of that round had the lightest strike I've seen. The adapter that fits over the snout of the barrel wasn't flush, it was set back causing the light strikes. Over the course of the next 200 rounds there were over 20 more fail to fires. Accuracy was okay. I was hoping it would be more accurate than the CMMG kit using a 5.56 barrel. Using the same ammo in both, they are about the same. Maybe I got a bad one. If the accuracy at 100 yards is no improvement over the CMMG kit and 5.56 barrel, I'll probably return it.

This is the perfect kit for your dedicated AR-22 build. The CMMMG 22LR Bravo conversion kit I purchased came with the .223 insert cartridge. When I decided to build a dedicated 22 upper the CMMG Barrel with the collar were a perfect fitment. The result was a perfect AR 22 in fit and finish. The barrel is amazing, and the collar takes five seconds to install.

Nice product
Used for a dedicated AR upper with CMMG bolt carrier and charging handle. Nice finish on barrel great accuracy great price. Great for economical training with .22LR ammo. As always great price, service and shipping from Optice Planet.
