If you haven't noticed, CMMG has had a lot of .22 conversion kits over the years. Currently (as of 7/28/15) they only offer the Bravo and Echo kits. This part was initially included in the now discontinued India kit. However, one can use this to upgrade a current Bravo. What it does is replace the stock brass collar with this lugged one which helps lock the bolt into the receiver. One caveat: The India kit also included a "bolt hold open" plate that would sit on top of the mag well and be sandwiched in between the upper and lower. The plate has a cutout on it that prevents this locking lug upgrade from rotating once in place. Since I don't have that piece, I just open the upper and double check that it hasn't slipped about every 100 rounds or so. It hasn't yet, as mine fits fairly snug. As far as accuracy goes, I've only noticed a slight improvement.... I think the point of this piece is to prevent the conversion bolt from sliding for and aft. My kit stock was a good and snug fit, which is why the accuracy gains for me were marginal.
