Most Helpful Negative Review milspec has tighter tolerances
The cmmg zeroed single 60 throw safety selector isn’t a bad product, the 60 throw is nice but it has a lot of play up and down before actually flip it to fire. It’s feels very rough to. A milspec is more smooth this product with oil is the same as a milspec without oil. They need to smooth it out and include their own spring and defend because the play and roughness is disappointing

Snappy, low profile, sharp

There's nothing objectively wrong with this safety, but it's not to my liking.

Pros:
- 60° short throw
- Looks nice
- Decent snappy feeling

Cons:
- Low profile; while some may prefer this, I found my thumb slipping off occasionally, not an issue I have with other safeties. I would not use this on anything other than a bench shooting gun
- The serrations are a bit sharp when going from fire back to safe

This safety installs just like a milspec. It has a nice look to it and i like the 60 degree angle for fire. Very useful and affordable upgrade.

Second One!

This is the second CMMG 60 degree safety selector I have purchased. Installation was relatively simple and I like the shorter throw. Since I’m right handed an ambi safety doesn’t do much for me so I prefer the CMMG if I’m swapping out a safety….especially for the money.
