decent light just cannot bump or rattle or the light switches modes. returned one thought it was defective replacement does same thing would have been good light for price BIG Dissapointment

coast hp17
I have several of these coast hp 17 and they are 110% nice a flashlight you could possibly want...to be axact I have 6 of them and many other coast flashlights and they all are top quality 100%...you can't go wrong with a coast flashlight as they all have a lifetime warranty...if you have problems with one send it back to coast....this coast flashlight I use when I need light for like all night as it has a larger battery capacity and runs longer....so each flashlight has its on use and time...this is an all nighter flashlight.....

Fantastic light!
I am very pleased with this light. It is extremely bright and the variable focus is great. I also prefer D battery lights, since they are common and the heavier batteries make the light suitable as a self defense weapon if needed.

Bright and long lasting
Make sure you receive the 615 lumen version. Some online retailers are trying to sub their old stock of the 575 lumen version for the new one (the old one only had a 13 hour runtime).
