I've never heard of the light manufacturer but it's as good as surefire or stream light as far as I'm concerned.
Pros: Rechargeable, intensely bright, strobe
Cons: takes a while to learn, a little too smooth

Must disagree with "Tim." On the setting I have chosen, activating the strobe is a quick 2 presses of the button on the tailcap. Flashlight fits nicely in my hand and outshines the older spotlight on my partner's patrol car. The focus helps for alternating between indoor/outdoor operations. I don't know that I would recommend this to anyone for "around the house" use due to the price tag, but for law enforcement it's the best on the market in my opinion.

Solid feel, nice optics, bright beam, novel beam options (strobe, low beam, SOS). However, the focus definitely takes two hands and working the focus lock and focus mechanism smoothly takes some practice, as does changing the light option settings. Once you have the feel for that, it is clearly a beautifully crafted device. Surprisingly, the strobe option is a powerful defense option. The blinding strobe will definitely keep animals (human or other) at bay for some time, allowing you options. The only downside to this is that activating the strobe function is not instantaneous.
Pros: Precision focus, strong beam, strobe option
Cons: Thumb on/off/control button ergonomically straining, takes practice to use well
Would recommend: Yes
