"Cold Steel" is just the name of the company that manufactures this piece of plastic garbage. The blade is made of plastic, do not buy this piece of plastic garbage. Even for $5 it is still a rip off piece of chinese plastic garbage. I only bought one, but unfortunately failed to realize that the blade and tang are entirely made of plastic! Too much trouble to send back to China, extremely dissatisfied that this site would even offer some plastic imitation of a dagger. Why they use misleading language is obvious, and that is to mislead you with keywords like "steel" "blade" "knife". As a tactic in order to trick into thinking that this is actually made of steel! I don't have any use whatsoever for a plastic toy knife. And no I will not be returning this garbage knife. I'll probably end up using it for target practice or possibly use it as a letter opener. Obviously of no practical use, I don't care if it was $5...
