I carry this knife tucked in my waistband and the unusual handle doesn't really look like a knife. That handle is thin yet easy to grip quickly and solid once in the hand. The blade is small but double edged and sharp enough to shave arm hair easily. Not too useful as a utility knife due to double edge but for defensive use I feel confident it will do fine. Sheath is fine although I used para cord not the included ball chain. The knife is a great deal.
