Cold Steel Scottish Sword
Beautiful Sword! come packed in a oil type gooey substance for rust protection, used a little WD40 and it was shiny and beautiful. heavy well made sword. I have always purchased Cold Steel products and they never disappoint great products and with Optics Planets.com you cannot beat the price!
Scottish Broad Sword
Very nice and very sharp double edged sword that fits in the scabbard nicely. Even tho it's made in India the weight, fit and finish are pretty nice. It comes inside the box in plastic bags and the metal surfaces coated with a grease for warehouse storage. Be careful when wiping down the blade as it can definitely slice you. If it was ever needed for defensive purposes it could hack off some limbs. I got it from OpticsPlanet for 42% off so $187.69 instead of $324.99. It's nice for $190 but I would not have bought it for $325.

Solid, all parts fitted.
Hilt area big enough for large hands, not for extra large hands.
Has plastic liners/fillers inside the wood/leather scabbard for smooth insertion of the blade... positive or negative?
