Cold steel scottish dirk - Cold Steel Scottish Dirk Knife w/ 18.38in Overall Length

Beautiful materials that come together to make a fine looking historical blade. Just not sharp enough out of the box to shave hair or meet my standards. I have never used this blade in a rough manner, but I think it would hold up fine. I purchased it for my collection, what I call a pretty knife. I have carried it on trips simply as a defense weapon. Would I buy another one, depends on how you plan to utilize it. For looks, or historical purposes, or defense it's ok. But if your going to use it to chop trees, then buy an axe or a good camp knife.
