Cold Steel Sjambok Stick
The Cold Steel Sjambok is inexpensive, but very durable. This is much easier to use than a traditional whip and would effective in a variety of situations. The price is unbeatable, will be purchasing another soon. Something you could legally take while walking in most places.
Strike King
This is a great tool to keep in your arsenal. With very little practice right out of the box, this thing is a bad-a** weapon. So far, no one that has seen it even knew what it was, until I tapped them with it once. Now my friends want one (or 2) for themselves.

Great for Runners
Great tool to discourage aggressive dogs without using OC sprays or lethal force. I cut this stick down to 24", and it still retains enough rigidity and flexibility to deliver effective blows in a compact package. Recommended for runners and walkers in areas without leash/containment laws.
