Cold Steel Special Forces shovel with sheath
Very rugged shovel, no nonsense design. he nose and sides come somewhat sharpened. The handle is solid and well mounted. Very solid - there is no doubt this thing would make a wicked self-defense weapon. I like option of being able to fashion a replacement handle in the wild if that ever became necessary. But I doubt it will ever break. It has some utility as a chopper in a pinch, but again, it’ is a shovel and excels at digging. I took this with me on a recent hike into the woods to gather a load of fatwood where I tested it. I am very satisfied.

Great product. Very well balanced and is extremely accurate for throwing. I purchased 3 of them for throwing and couldn't be happier. Be warned that you don't want to throw shovels back to back. They are so balanced that I split the handles on the shovels already in the target. I will be buying more handles and 3 more with the longer handle. If you take these to your local axe throwing pubs the axe throwers will be jealous. I'm a big cold steel fan and these are the best. Thanks!

Feels sturdy and seems it could handle some abuse has somewhat of an edge on the sides that can be sharpened with a stone . Handle feels good in hand . I like the sheath option and it doesn't seem too light but not on the heavy side good addition to any backpack or trunk and trail pack
