It's a nice big sword
Given I have not actually hit anything with the sword... It seems solid and nice looking. It is tight and heavy just like a big sword should be. I've wanted one of these style swords for several years and the cost on this one hit the sweet spot. The leather around the handle is a bit loose. When I cleaned off the oil I unknowingly sliced off a little skin from my finger tips - It has a better edge than most other knives and swords that I have purchased. When the hordes come, I'm ready.
Pros:
- It looks nice
- It's big
Cons:
- Not really a Con, but watch that edge.
Best Used for:
- defending home against raging hordes

Great Sword Indeed!
It is the greatest and biggest sword I own. Even though I have studied martial arts
and had weapons training, I have no intention of weilding a blade against a living
being. The main purpose is to exercise the hands, wrists, forearms, arms, shoulders
and chest. This sword is meant to be used with both hands and probably from a horse
back in the day. If you are strong and fit try it with one hand. Swing it carefully and watch
out for your feet! It is expertly wrought and extremely sharp on both sides right out of the box.
The handle is massive and feels very secure. Beyond the large hilt is a smaller secondary hilt.
The blade between them is unsharpened and coated with a rubbery substance which allows
the bearer to grip the sword there for extra support during use. It doesn't come with a scabbard
but I will seek to have one fitted for it. I display the sword hanging with hooks in the wall.
It draws lots of comments from my guests, and perhaps a little fear
and respect. There is no hiding my obsession with this blade in hand. It was a thrill
to remove it from the box and realized what I had purchased.
