Jake's Review of Colt 223 Rem/ 556 NATO M4 Feed Ramps Upper

I know Colt has been inconsistent lately with their markings but mine came stamped with their cage code. Its not the colt "c" stamp, but I actually like the look of the cage code better. The anodizing is good, but the black dye didn't quite get into the internals giving it an ashy look inside. The upper is also does not have dry film lube on the inside. Neither is a big deal to me.
Pros:
  • Cage code marking, M4 marking on the front face of the rail above the barrel extention threads
Cons:
  • Inside is lackluster. Perhaps evidence of Colt's recent struggle in the market?
