It's seems like a great stock in many ways, but the super loose fit is really annoying. Rattles and moves around more than a standard mil-spec stock. Because it is for commercial and mil-spec tubes its way over sized for mil-spec and the "tensioners" that are supposed to make up for the the tube difference, do not even contact the tube. Maybe it fits great on a commercial tube but all I have is mil spec tubes. It's on a Colt at the moment and I'm looking at different stocks bc the rattle annoys me so much. You now know why the other stock reviewer is giving advice on how to use velcro tape the buffer tube to secure the rattle, well I'd rather have a stock that just fits properly.....

SBS stands for skeletonized butt stock. But this is anything but bare bones. I would highly recommend the command arms SBS stock. I looked at so many before choosing this one and I couldn't be happier. I am using this on my Ruger AR556 A2 mil spec rifle build. First impressions, the packaging this thing came in was incredible, a heavy duty windowed clam shell box. It was covered in graphics, product info and company contact info. The stock looks and feels Incredible out of the package. Very high quality. The cheek pad is a soft rubber that feels great and grips well. It's slightly bulged right where it needs to be for a great comfortable sight picture and cheek weld. All of the controls are contoured into the design of the stock. There is nothing protruding or sticking out causing snags or accidental activation. And honestly it adds alot to the asthetics of the stock and gun. It's very clean and slick looking. The slide control can actually be locked to your desired length of pull. The butt pad is a hard rubber well made and finished to fit the end of the stock. It has the CAA It adds tremendous grip and absorption while manipulating the rifle. It can also be removed if your counting ounces or need to clean it. It comes with two QD inserts that are located just in front of the pad on the frame. HOWEVER, my mapgpul MS4 slings QD studs would not engage. I believe this maybe a Magpul issue as they have shorter than normal studs. But something to keep in mind. It wasn't an issue...
