No matter how I adjust this holster, the retention is not good. For the price I paid; I'd say it's just ok. It really marks up the sides of my slide and yet offers very little retention. I may need to see if I can drill a hole and make my own retention adjustment. They sure have a lot of positive reviews on ytube, not sure why.

The screws stripped out immediately so I couldn't switch it out for the paddle and wear it outside the waistband. Had to send it back to Opticsplanet. I have this holster for other model pistols. Its happened before and exchanged it for a different one. as long as the screws dont strip out its a good holster.

So, for the last few years I have been buying a pistol a year ... just to try different brands. When my club started letting me draw from a holster, I needed to buy one. I started with a generic nylon holster. These are ok, and you can usually use the same holster for different, similar pistols. But, you can never get the secure feel and quick draw from a generic nylon holster that you can get from a model specific Kydex holster.
I started with another, well reputed, brand for my Walther. I was disappointed. Then I tried the Comp-Tac International. I was very happy. It exuded quality. And, it comes with a bunch of little parts that allow you to mount it high/low, canted forward/reverse (for cross draw). As I acquired additional pistols, I acquired additional Comp-Tac International holsters. (The one big downside of a model specific kydex holster is that it is Model Specific. You end up with a bunch of them.) I added one for a Glock, and one for an H&K. (And, a different Comp-Tac kydex holster for a Sig.)
I am very happy with all of my Comp-Tac International holsters, and with Comp-Tac holsters in general. If I need another model specific kydex holster, I will look for a Comp-Tac first.
Pros:
- Durability
- Quality
- options
- good for training
- Good for Competition
Cons:
- Not Level 2
- Not for Open Carry
- Not a Duty Holster

Solid quality. Perfect fit. Came with several accessories that integrates te perfectly with battketech ones so I can really customize my rigs. I’ll be looking at Comp Tac first going forward for holsters

Fits my CZ 75 BD like a glove. Good positive click when holstered. It is hard to find just the right owb holster to meet my standards and this one did it at a great price. I prefer g-code with a rti wheel but they don’t make one for my model. The holster will take the rti or the safariland adapter. The holes on the back line up perfectly!
Pros:
- value
- snug fit
- Smooth Draw
- Takes g-code adapter for RTI Wheel
- Has Safariland holes to mount their holster attachments.
- lots of options standard
- smooth reholster
- retention ok
Cons:
- No active retention options
- Not ideal for concealed carry
Best Used for:
- Range
- competing shooting sports

This is my second Comp-Tac International holster. I bought it for my Wilson Combat P320 because I was very happy with the same model holster I have used with my Sig P239. More importantly, I bought it from Optics Planet at the suggestion of Comp-Tac. The folks at the manufacturer did not know if their holster would accommodate the Wilson Combat grip module, and they have a no-returns policy, so they steered me to Optics Planet because OP has a more liberal returns policy.
Pros:
- It does exactly what a tactical holster should do. It holds the gun securely and releases it smoothly. Its adjustments ensure proper positioning, and--most importantly--it covers the trigger guard, which minimizes the likelihood of an unintentional discha
Cons:
- It is probably not the best option as a carry holster, because it has no retention mechanism.
Best Used for:
- Tactical shoot competition.
