I was looking for a comfortable and secure every day carry holster for a Walther PDP. I ordered 5 different holsters and the Comp-Tac MTAC is the most comfortable, most secure, and easiest to live with on a day-to-day basis. Second runner up is a Clip & Carry IWB, but it lacks the leather backing which makes the Comp-Tac so comfortable.

The Comp-Tac's four adjustment screws on the clips make adjusting to your personal preference quick and easy. It makes canting to the most comfortable position something that many IWBs don't do a great job of.

I have a Walther PDP Compact 4" barrel with Holosun 507C solar red dot and it fits prefectly The top of the pistol doesn't exceed the top of the holster so it doesn't touch my skin. There is about half an inch between the kydex and the front of the optic so I don't worry about the lens being scratched.

One more point: I carried a S&W M&P .40 for 9 years with a Galco holster, which is much like the Comp-Tac. Galco doesn't make a holster for the Walther so I had to find something else and the Comp-Tac works as well as the Galco did.

I'm a big guy, mostly solid but big. I gave up on appendix long ago but kept trying 3 and 5 o'clock options. I thought I was going to be limited to only sticky holsters because in 15+ iwb holsters I couldn't find any that are belt secured that work for me. This is the first one that lets me reholster my weapon without releasing my belt and with no weapon printing.

I am very impressed with the feel of this hybrid holster and the comfort I get when wearing it. I have researched some reviews on YouTube as well, and found that some people are not comfortable with the way the trigger can be exposed when pulling the plastic sheath away from the leather part of the holster. I personally don't find this as too big a problem because when it is inside your waist band there is minimal chance for these two pieces to pull apart to expose the trigger. I also believe it is manufactured this way to increase mobility and comfort. I would recommend this product any day.

So set it up grabbed my Glock 19 and went out for the day. This holster is way more comfortable than my last one! Sitting down wasn't too bad, standing and moving around you hardly notice it. I tried some dry fire practice soon as I got home and drawing from the holster is very easy and there's an appropriate amount of retention. I'll update review to 5 stars after owning for longer period.

Holster is easily concealed as it is thin and light. Easy to use and clip on, it does the job well. Have not worn it for long, unknown how it will hold up over time. Construction appears good and solid though.

Very comfortable holster can carry all day no problem, love it.nice not hot on the skin. Specialy with larger guns still fell comfortable. Top quality materials.it would be perfect if the shipping was 2 day free, like Amazon prime

Great holster. Clips work well with the belt and don't scratch metal (pick up truck) is you lean up against it. Finish does not bleed onto clothing . Weapon is secure but accessible. Made of high quality components. Very comfortable for all day use.
