Most Helpful Positive Review Very useful
I resisted purchasing these, thinking I could improvise a homemade solution, or that the lights wouldn't work that well. After coming up with some ridiculous ideas and wasting a lot of time, I finally gave in and added these to an order. For recording velocities indoors, I don't think you could beat the ease of setup and use, and most importantly the ability to capture EVERY shot in varied light conditions. The only reason I withheld a star is that they only include a 110V wall adapter. It would have been nice and made a lot of sense to include a way to power them off of a 9V battery or two. T...

This thing really works

by AirGunner, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on January 6, 2026
I bought this Pro-Chronograph attachment because recent over-cast weather in my area left my chronograph as a useless paper weight.

I recently purchased an un-suppressed PCP air rifle that would be too loud to shoot in my back yard in order to collect velocity data. This chronograph attachment allows me to get my velocity readings indoors and avoid having the cops called on me for shooting in my backyard.

Wouldn't you know it? No sooner did this item arrive than our weather cleared up so that now my Pro-Chrono functions outdoors like it's supposed to function. This is still an excellent attachment to fall back on if overcast skies keeps your Chronograph from working properly.
Best Used for:
  • Indoor or low light velocity testing.

I was having trouble reading shots with the sun in its winter angle, so called up chrony and they said to use the light bar, and it worked well!

Works sometimes

by Bill, from IL, United States Written on October 9, 2022
I usually shoot from a covered area. Prior to purchasing these infrared lighting screens, I built a light bar utilizing two 60W incandescent bulbs that works 100% of the time with my ProChrono but is cumbersome to setup and carry around the range. I bought these IR light screens to facilitate easier setup. I was totally disappointed that it failed to record less than 50% of the shots after shooting a couple hundred rounds over the chronograph on two outings. I am back to using my homemade light bar setup with 100% of shots recorded. I would not purchase again.
