Works great, but needs some distance
I use this in a semi-open range (roof and back/side walls) to measure my handloads and match velocities on antique military rifles. One thing I learned, which may be the same for other brands, and should've actually read in the manual, is that you don't want it right up close or the muzzle blast confuses it. So I can't have it under the roof even though I spent the money on the indoor light kit. Other than that, it works well. Pretty sturdy, I hit one of the sticks with a 22 round once (cursed windage adjust rings), other than having to bend it straight, no damage. Also it being almost kn...

Great Chromo
Finally able to properly developed my loads, and this is the very tool I needed to reach that point. I was familiar with this particular model, id borrowed my brother in laws when I first got into handholding. I k knew there was know need to break the bank when this would fully accommodate all my needs.

this is the first chrono I have bought. easy to set up, no trouble in sunlight, helpful for all my reloads. Should have bought earlier. The unit seems to be built well, is light, easy to handle. The price is right, good value.

Simple to use.
I have used this to test velocities of shotgun slugs, rifle and pistol bullets. Always reads out perfectly. I can go back and look at the "strings", no issues. I like the simplicity of it, I don't like complicated gadgets. For the price, it's worth it's weight in gold.

Pro chronograph
So far it has been very reliable. I. Have used it to check my archery equipment and it worked great. I am planning to work up some loads for my deer rifle to be able to get the best speed for the least amount of powder at a given bullet weight and design.
Pros:
- Very stable readings outdoors.
Cons:
- It will not work indoors with out their light kit.
