The Condor Golok is a great machete!
This is my second Condor Golok. The first one that I bought is now in a hunting cabin and has been used to clear shooting lanes around the blinds, clear around the cabin and we use it and to clear paths to our hunting areas. I liked it so much I decided to buy another one to keep at home to clear areas around our property. Things I like: (1) "heft", the weight makes it a good "feel" when in use (2) the leather sheath is more than adequate for keeping the blade in "safe" mode (3) as it came new it was sharp and with less than ten minutes and a flat diamond sharpener it was sharp enough to cut hair. I bought one of those "pucks" to use for sharpening and it gives a good "coarse" edge for field use. Do I like it? Yep!
BTW, this is not my only Condor knife model. I have a Condor 5" belt knife, the "El Salvador", that I carry in the field. It is also heavy duty. Yep! Like this one, too!

The BEST Machete/Knife Ever
Bought this for my husband for on our hunting lease. We have had various machetes/knives over the years and they were "ok'. Some better than others. This one however, came sharp, fits his hand perfectly and it really seriously works. He has gone through the back brush to cut a trail with no problems at all. Cuts through stuff like hot knife to butter. Highly recommend.
