The laser works well with the CoolFire Trainer recoil system and even in conjunction with Mantis Laser Academy. I wish the laser had a passthrough for the CO², though, as to not always having to remove it for recharges. However, it unscrews and rescrews fairly quickly. There is a direct charge unit available, but the laser already adds just enough length to the gun to not fit properly into my closed muzzle holster and the extended model supposedly is even bigger. YMMV if your holster is longer than your EDC. My P30L is taking up most of the space in my JMCK holster. I will still test the unit as a whole a lot more in dry fire, but am very happy with my purchase thus far.
