Def has its place - Covert Optics ThermX HS1 Handheld Thermal Scanner

Before I bought this, I checked the other reviews and they are spot on, but man people are really tough to please. Here's what I liked about this product. It's LIGHT. Like crazy light. I could carry this all day in my front pocket and forget it was there. The menu is fine, no issues there. I like the color palettes. Not amazed by the resolution, but I took it outside and was able to see heat signatures fairly far so it gets me where I need to go, especially for tracking injured game or as a fun toy to have around. I haven't mounted it, but the 30mm tube is a nice feature. If I was in battle this would be a great thing to have on my rifle!
