I've used multiple brands of trail cameras for decades, even before they came popular. Very few models today offer white flash so that night photos are all in full color. I actually had some of the very early Covert keyhole cameras, one of which is still in operation today. This Covert Hollywood is just what I've been waiting for. A lot of people think the white flash spooks game animals. I'm not saying it doesn't ever but I've got thousands of photos of whitetails (including some and the same mature bucks) time and again with no reaction to the flash. If the user is concerned, I suggest placing the camera higher, angled down. The flash from above is less likely to spook deer. The flash on this camera can be adjusted for three ranges which is a feature I've never been offered. The daytime photos have the best clarity of any brand camera I've ever owned. I have not even tried the video option yet. I project it will be superb. This camera is not the easiest to program for an old guy like me but with help of a friend, most of the options fell into place. I don't have the opportunity to run as many cameras as I used to, but when I need more cameras, this is the one I'll buy, especially if they go on sale again at $99.
