Worked great... for 2 days - Crimson Trace LS-250 Lasersaddle Laser Sight for Mossberg

I'm usually a fan of Crimson Trace products and I own several for my handguns. The Lasersaddle looked like a great solution for my Shockwave. I was excited to receive it and it mounted very smoothly. The green laser is so bright that it's almost painful to use in low light, and the activation pads were easy to reach. The problem I had was that after only two days (and not even a single shot fired) the activation switches started going out. When the pads were pressed, sometimes the laser would work, sometimes the laser would flicker then die, sometimes nothing happened at all. It was completely random as to what I would get each time. Obviously, I couldn't count on this sight in a defensive situation. Of course, OpticsPlanet took care of the return with no hassle at all. I know that manufacturers sometimes produce a dud, but for something as important as this, Crimson Trace doesn't get the luxury of making mistakes. I opted to mount a tritium BigDot front bead and a RDS on my Shockwave, instead of taking a chance on another Lasersaddle.
