Decent light, a few shortcomings! - Crimson Trace Cree XPL LED Waterproof Tactical Weapon Light

This little light is very well built. The housing is sturdy and has a nice button. The light output is decent for this price range as well. The fact that this light comes with 2 mounts and M-lok or Keymod mounting hardware is very nice. The pressure switch is well built and has functioned flawlessly. Unfortunately, my kit came without a torx head allen wrench, but luckily I had one that fit in my toolbox! Also, the velcro strips that are used for the mounting of the pressure switch broke off after trying to relocate the pressure switch to another position on my rifle. I have contacted Crimson Trace to see about replacements but have yet to hear back from them. (I sent them an email only 6 days ago as of this review)

Overall I'd say that the light is good, not great. I would recommend if you want to add a light to a range toy or to use for practice, but I'd probably recommend looking for a different option like a streamlight or surefire if you need a dependable/robust light!
