The size of the CWL-102 is perfect for keeping the weight of the AR more balanced. The 500 lumens is more than enough for home defense. The light is of very high quality construction. The price was on point and the shipping was fast.

I really prefer Crimson Trace products as they are a great value and look very nice. The beam on this light is plenty bright and has an even flood pattern. I would recommend these to anybody looking for a great light at a really affordable price.

I have it monted to a a2 handgaurd with a gc&c rail with a magpul grip and it fits nice and its bright

This little light is very well built. The housing is sturdy and has a nice button. The light output is decent for this price range as well. The fact that this light comes with 2 mounts and M-lok or Keymod mounting hardware is very nice. The pressure switch is well built and has functioned flawlessly. Unfortunately, my kit came without a torx head allen wrench, but luckily I had one that fit in my toolbox! Also, the velcro strips that are used for the mounting of the pressure switch broke off after trying to relocate the pressure switch to another position on my rifle. I have contacted Crimson Trace to see about replacements but have yet to hear back from them. (I sent them an email only 6 days ago as of this review)

Overall I'd say that the light is good, not great. I would recommend if you want to add a light to a range toy or to use for practice, but I'd probably recommend looking for a different option like a streamlight or surefire if you need a dependable/robust light!

i was looking for a small, lightweight, weapon light with a magpul mount for ruger pc charger and this light is pretty well perfect for this gun. and, the price was good. package also included a very nice pic rail mount which may become useful in the future. the light is plenty bright and appears to be constructed very well. i've bought a few things from this site now now and have been very pleased. one purchase didn't work out but it was easy to return and the credit showed up on my card within a few days. great product. great service. just bought another light from these folks for another gun and i'll continue to check this site before i buy anything gun related.

Excellent light Have the CWL-102 and the CWL-202 on duty guns. One for entry work the other patrol. They have each performed on par with other weapon mounted lights that cost more than twice the amount.

If youre looking for a small bright light that includes every mount you could need for a long gun, comes with a solid tape switch, and you dont want to pay surefire/cloudlight defense/even streamlight money, this is the light for you! I picked this over a streamlight (the closest in terms of value and size) because it was considerably cheaper with similar lumen output and was surprised to find that its tape switch feels more robust and solid than any of my three streamlight protac hlx's! No flicker issues with the crimson trace and its got plenty of output especially for the 7.5" 7.62x39 pistol its on now. Size and weight were the biggest factors for me and this light delivered on my expectations.

Fits great on my Tac14. Battery Life seems pretty good. Brighter than some lights out there, especially got it's size. The install isn't bad. Comes with Pic Mount, Mlok Mount, and Keymod. Should fit just about anything out there.
