The first one I received had a defective pressure switch but Optics Planet paid for return shipping and another was promptly sent out. That's why I buy from them, great service. The next one worked perfectly. The fit on my Glock 19 series 3 is perfect. It doesn't stick out beyond the end of the barrel like the other weaponlights do. The beam pattern is perfect for in an enclosed area like a home, not a hot spot, but rather an evenly dispersed illumination. Easy to cover a room from corner to corner clearing it. Other more powerful lights are too hot for indoor work compared to the 100 lumen beam of the Crimson Trace. The run time is long for this bright of a light. Outdoors it is effective for about 40 to 50 yds. easily identifying targets. Combined with night sights it is the ticket for things that go bump in the night. What I like is that the on/off switch is a little hard to use but won't be switched accidentally during use. Mr Gunsngear has a great review on this light and shows it's use at night.
