Not water resistant

Bought this to be a breathable rain jacket for work as a plumber and wore it in the rain the day after I received it. It is lightweight, but could not keep me dry for more than 30 minutes. I even got wet in my arm pits from it soaking through at my shoulders. The manufacturer should do more testing before selling.

Tactically Delicious

This handguard is super solid yet lightweight. The lockup to the receiver is a smart innovation to give it strength at the most vulnerable point. Installation is easy if you know how to remove a gas block. The color matches the Magpul FDE closely also. Many options for mounting with the three included rails. I like the smaller diameter also as I have smaller hands and the other rails with exception to the Troy Alpha are too fat.

Home protection asset

The first one I received had a defective pressure switch but Optics Planet paid for return shipping and another was promptly sent out. That's why I buy from them, great service. The next one worked perfectly. The fit on my Glock 19 series 3 is perfect. It doesn't stick out beyond the end of the barrel like the other weaponlights do. The beam pattern is perfect for in an enclosed area like a home, not a hot spot, but rather an evenly dispersed illumination. Easy to cover a room from corner to corner clearing it. Other more powerful lights are too hot for indoor work compared to the 100 lumen beam of the Crimson Trace. The run time is long for this bright of a light. Outdoors it is effective for about 40 to 50 yds. easily identifying targets. Combined with night sights it is the ticket for things that go bump in the night. What I like is that the on/off switch is a little hard to use but won't be switched accidentally during use. Mr Gunsngear has a great review on this light and shows it's use at night. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZlDYH4Hnpw I've also seen this work on series 2 Glocks also. The way it clamps onto the trigger guard is solid. Crazy bright light, compact and works with concealment holsters, and affordable. Buy yours now.

Best of both worlds

The Meuller speed shot is the best affordably priced optic you can buy. I was looking for the speed of a red dot but over 100 yds., I need magnification to clearly identify and define targets. This scope has a 30mm tube so it has a better field of view than just a 1" tube. It also lets in more light. This is the only magnified red dot that I know of that has an etched reticle. This is a huge advantage when the battery dies as you still have something to aim with. I tried other magnified reticles but all were too busy for any speed. I even find the Trijicon ACOG too busy with it's rangefinders. Fixed power red dots don't give versatility in CQB and long range combined. I can hit a 10 " gong at 300 yds. which is probably about the realistic range of my 16" barreled Stag model 3. For long range shooting over 300 yds. crosshairs are more appropriate. The quality of the glass is excellent, you would have to spend over $800 to do better. Nightforce, Leupold, Swarovski, and Zeiss are all excellent quality, but I am not spending more on optics than the gun costs. All 1-4X scopes seem to come in around one pound so the only way to save weight would be a micro dot. These have a very small field of view, just try hitting a moving target and you'll see. The only improvement I could think of is a rat tail for changing magnification fast. Oh, and by the way, the red dot is crisp and visible in the brightest of backgrounds, not many red dots can do this.
